The "Presickhaeffs Huys" is a medieval house located in the center of #Arnhem (Gelderland), the Netherlands. Constructed in 1354, it underwent a T-shaped expansion in 1555. Historically, the house was inhabited by prominent figures, including mayors from the Van Presickhave family, from whom it derives its name. In 1606, it became the Nassausch Weduwenhuis. Later, in 1795, it functioned as a teahouse, and from 1915 to 1944, it served as a café with meeting rooms. It is one of the few medieval houses in Arnhem that survived the extensive destruction of the city center during World War II. Adjacent to the house is a classicist gate from around 1650, leading to Arnhem's last city pump.
