The "Tongerlohuys" in #Roosendaal (Noord-Brabant) was originally built in 1762 as a refuge for the Norbertine monks of Tongerlo Abbey, who oversaw the local parish. The building features a rectangular structure with a hipped roof, flanked by two low wings at the front and a gallery facing the garden. Notable architectural details include entrances adorned with Louis XV-style hardstone frames and rooms retaining original stucco work and fireplaces. In the 19th century, it served as a rectory, incorporating a modest chapel.
