In Den Gulden Engel

Description

The house "In Den Gulden Engel" in #Woudrichem (Noord-Brabant) features a saddle roof and stepped gable in the Dordrecht style, with natural stone bands, dripstones, and blocks. Above the windows are profiled basket-handle arches with brick mosaics, flanked by small columns on corbels with capitals, supporting curved rectangular arches. Above the door is a shell motif. It has ten decorative wall anchors. Two facade stones are an alliance coat of arms near the top and a relief of an angel in a niche with the year 1593 and the inscription "In Den Gulden Engel".
