The "Provinciehuis" of #Groningen (Groningen) is the administrative center of the province of Groningen, located on the east side of the Martinikerkhof. The front building was constructed in the early 20th century in Dutch renaissance style, while the back part, including the statenzaal, was originally the medieval Latin School of St. Martin. The complex also includes a rebuilt porter's lodge made from the Renaissance facade of the old Cardinaalshuis.
