"Hôpital Wallon" in #Leiden (Zuid-Holland), the Netherlands, was a Protestant hospital established by the Walloon church community. Founded in 1886 and opened on May 1, 1887, it operated until 1924 at Rapenburg 12-14. In 1892, the hospital expanded with a new wing at Papengracht 13, designed by local architect Willem Cornelis Mulder. This extension was built in the Dutch neo-renaissance style, characterized by decorative brickwork, stone accents, and an ornamented façade bearing the inscription HÔPITAL WALLON.
