Description

The "Drostenhuis" is located on the Wall Street of #Ootmarsum (Overijssel), at Walstraat 1. It is an 18th-century patrician house, originally a city farm. Around 1750, it was transformed into a residence by the Cramer family, notably Hendrik Knijpinga Cramer, Twente's last drost (judge and administrator). It now serves as a museum showcasing Empire-style interiors with period furniture and artifacts.
