Oldruitenborgh

Description

"Oldruitenborgh" is a historic manor house (havezate) in #Vollenhove (Overijssel), founded in the late 14th century by Egberts Pelgrim van den Rutenberghe, who was then the town's schout. The current building likely dates from the second half of the 15th century, with major renovations in 1656 and 1803. It features a long east-west oriented wing, a vaulted cellar, and a gothic fireplace. The surrounding English landscape garden was established in the early 19th century.
