A new neo-gothic town hall was commissioned in #Duffel (Antwerpen), completed in 1839. Damaged in 1914, it was replaced between 1926-1928 with a new design by G. Careels, rotated and relocated. The council chamber interior was only finished in 1950 in neo-renaissance style. The L-shaped building combines neo-traditional and neo-baroque elements, with towers and decorative stonework.
