"Kasteel van Nokere" is located in #Nokere (Oost-Vlaandere). It predates the 16th century but burned down in 1596. Rebuilt by Mathieu-Xavier de Ghellinck, who bought the Nokere lordship in 1727, it gained its current classicist appearance between 1773 and 1783 with two added side wings. Nearby are service buildings, including a 17th-century gatehouse with Jacob van Gavere's tombstone and a coach house displaying 18th- and 19th-century carriages.
