"De Beitel, de Passer, 't Penseel" is a monumental, eclectic townhouse with neoclassical features in #Mechelen (Antwerpen), built in 1902 to a design by P. Van Boxmeer. This three-story, three-bay single house has a bluestone facade and a mansard roof. The ground floor features rusticated masonry and diamond-head decoration, while the upper floors are vertically accented with Corinthian pilasters and arched lintels. The bel-etage has rectangular windows with Ionic half-columns, a balustraded balcony, and an entablature with a dentil frieze. The top floor has arched twin windows with sculpted medallions depicting busts of Lucas Fayd'herbe, Rombout Keldermans, and Frans Hals. The attic balustrade includes decorative vases, a festooned parapet, and a dated oculus window.
