"Kasteel Wisch", a in #Terborg (Gelderland), dates back to 1285, known as "Huis Wisch". It was the center of the Wisch lordship, part of Zutphen County, until 1813. The lords of Wisch, prominent since the 12th century, expanded their territory in the 14th century. The original castle, Oud-Wisch, was likely destroyed in 1531. The current castle, built on the Oude IJssel’s east bank, was split between two Wisch branches in the 14th century. Conflicts led to its capture in 1531. It features a 15th-century round tower, a 16th-century main building, and a long service wing.
