The "Gulden Boot" or "Maison de la Chaloupe d'Or" is a historic baroque building on the Grand Place of #Brussel. Originally two 14th-century houses acquired by the tailors' guild around 1500, it was rebuilt in 1697 by architect Guillaume De Bruyn after the 1695 French bombardment, with sculptures by Pierre Van Dievoet. The facade features three bays, Ionic pilasters, a 19th-century bust of St. Barbara, and a crowning statue of St. Homobonus, patron of tailors.
