Description

The "Catharina Gasthuis" in #Gouda (Zuid-Holland), was originally a hospital. Likely part of a 13th-century complex owned by the lords of Gouda, its Oosthaven facades, possibly designed by Pieter Post, date to 1665. It served as a hospital until 1910. The chapel, built in 1474, was part of the hospital but later served as a storage shed, Walloon church. In 1817, it became a Catholic church until 1879, then a brewery storage.
