Built in 1907-1909, Mariënheuvel (formerly Meer en Berg) is a country house in #Heemstede (Noord-Holland), designed by Foeke Kuipers in the style of 17th- and 18th-century French chateaux for H.J. Deutz van Lennep. Replacing an older building, it sits centrally within an English landscape park by L.A. Springer, with a pond added in 1959. The red-brick house features a mansard roof, stone details, and a butterfly floor plan with a central entrance, balcony, and side wings.
