This town hall of #Zomergem (Oost-Vlaanderen) was built in 1923 and designed by Valentin Vaerwyck in Flemish neo-traditional style. It replaced the 1870 town hall which was destroyed in 1918. It is constructed from brick and stone, has five bays and three stories under a hipped slate roof with an octagonal clock tower and onion spire. It has a symmetrical facade with Flemish details, Bruges-style windows, and a stepped gable dormer.
