The "Stadsschouwburg" in #Kortrijk (West-Vlaanderen), built 1912-1920 in Flemish neo-renaissance style by architect Jan Robert Vanhoenacker, is one of Europe's best-preserved city theatres. Its dominant facade on Schouwburgplein originally harmonized with 16th-century Grote Hallen, which was destroyed in 1944.
