The "Kimpton Fitzroy London" (originally "Hotel Russell", opened 1900) is a grand hotel in Bloomsbury's Russell Square in #London. Designed by architect Charles Fitzroy Doll, it features flamboyant French neo-renaissance style inspired by "Château de Madrid", with red brick, ornate thé-au-lait terracotta cladding, turrets, arches, statues of four queens, and lavish interiors. Doll's elaborate designs influenced the RMS Titanic interiors.
