The city hall of #SanFrancisco is a grand Beaux-Arts building designed by Bakewell & Brown (Arthur Brown Jr.). Completed in 1915, it replaced the original structure destroyed in the 1906 earthquake. Its 307-ft dome crowns a symmetrical Classical facade inspired by French Renaissance models like Les Invalides. Built as part of the City Beautiful movement for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition, it features lavish marble, bronze details, and ornate interiors.
