This four-story building features colorful frescoes on the facade depicting local history and scenes, exposed half-timbering (added 1745-46) with red-painted beams on upper floors, oriel windows, a tower with a gilded Swiss clock, and a sundial. It exemplifies the town's exceptionally preserved 15th-16th-century renaissance and half-timbered architecture, renowned for its vibrant murals and harmonious historic square.
