"Villa Heineken" is a historic villa located in #Amsterdam (Noord-Holland). Built around 1891 by order of Gerard Adriaan Heineken, the founder of the famous Heineken brewery, it originally served as a residence. The villa was designed by architect Dolf van Gendt and features an eclectic architectural style with elements of half-timbering, neo-gothic, and neo-renaissance influences. A significant event in its history is the kidnapping of Freddy Heineken and his chauffeur Ab Doderer on November 9, 1983, which took place right in front of the villa.
