In 't Oude Woud

Description

Part of a 1932 double-building ensemble by architect Léon Govaerts, "In 't Oude Woud" is a three-story baroque-style house at Leuven's Grote Markt. Its richly decorated red-brick façade with white natural stone, volutes, and ornate windows echoes the 1666 original. Features include mascarons, festoons, sculpted cartouches, and a 1932 date inscription.
