"Den Enghel" is a well-preserved medieval guild house in #Gent (Oost-Vlaanderen) built from Tournai limestone, featuring 13th-century construction incorporating segmental arches and decorative capitals. First mentioned in 1373, it served as a brewers' guild house from 1435 to 1540. The current sandstone façade, added in 1912 by Amand Janssens, was inspired by the former Masons' House. The building has three levels, gothic elements, and retains much of its original structure, including beams, a spiral staircase, and vaulted ceilings. Architectural details include ornate sculptures, niches, and historical coats of arms.
