The former "Gildehuis der Onvrije Schippers" or "Het Anker" in #Gent (Oost-Vlaanderen) showcases a 1739 Baroque facade by Bernard de Wilde. The restored, painted facade on a stone plinth features a curved gable with a pediment. A central projection with rusticated corners and pilasters supports a triangular pediment. An arched door-window with a 19th-century iron balcony stands out. The ornate gable has an oculus, vase, and volutes with lion heads. Dolphins frame a panel with a crown and plumes under a pediment with a ship-shaped weathervane.
