Description

A medieval corner building in #Zutphen (Gelderland). Dating back to the 13th century, its side wall features ancient masonry. Originally called "Die Morrensterre," it was owned by the Counts of Gelre and Zutphen. Rebuilt in 1340, it retains its core structure from cellar to roof. The building, now split into two residences, has a high gabled roof and a plastered list facade. Remnants of 16th-century staircases are visible at the rear, and a stucco ceiling with a 1616-dated beam survives inside.
