This historic house in #Dordrecht (Zuid-Holland), lies between the Voorstraat and the Taankade of Wijnhaven. Built on a medieval dyke, it features narrow, deep houses from the 14th-15th centuries. The 19-meter-deep property has a front and rear house, with the front dating back to the Middle Ages. Extensively renovated in the early 17th century, it was named 'Sinte Nicolaes' and sold in 1608, with renovations completed by 1609, marked by a rear facade stone. The Voorstraat facade, updated in the 19th century with a shopfront, retains 17th-century brickwork. The well-preserved rear facade features ornate window arches and stone layers. It was once home to a notary, shopkeepers, and craftsmen.
