Description

The Hervormde Kerk in #Kattendijke is a single-nave gothic brick church built on a terp around the early 15th century. In 1630 an octagonal tower with natural stone bands and blocks was added, topped by a wooden lantern and pear-shaped spire. The choir was demolished in 1768. After centuries of alterations, a major 1955 restoration removed plaster to reveal the brickwork and added a consistory.
