"Hôtel Evropa" is located on Wenceslas Square in #Prague. Originally built in 1872 in neo-renaissance style by architect Josef Schulz, it was redesigned 1903-1905 in ornate Geometric Art Nouveau (Czech Secession) with sinuous lines, floral/allegorical reliefs, gilded details, and a striking façade topped by a golden globe lamp. The famous Art Nouveau façade was created by architects Bedřich Bendelmayer and Alois Dryák (with Bohumil Hübschmann and Jan Letzel).
