"Maison Kammerzell" in #Strasbourg is a half-timbered medieval building. Its stone ground floor dates to 1427, with major transformations in 1467 and 1589. The ornate upper floors, added by cheese merchant Martin Braun, feature elaborate carved woodwork blending late gothic and German renaissance styles. The rich façade decorations draw from the Bible, Antiquity, and the Middle Ages. Located next to the cathedral, it is one of the best-preserved examples of Alsatian civil architecture.
